Structural Integration

a progressive series of sessions to address restrictions in the body's connective tissue (fascia), aiming to re-educate the body into more efficient and energy-sustaining movement patterns and a more balanced structure within the gravitational field.

The 12-Series

Ready for full-body transformation? The 12-Series Package is the best way to experience deep pain relief and realign your entire body.

The Structural Integration 12-Series is a progressive program designed to bring your body into better balance, alignment, and ease of movement. Each session focuses on a different area of the body—starting with the outer layers, moving into the deeper core, and finishing with whole-body integration.

Sessions are scheduled once every 1-2 weeks, and each builds on the last to create long-lasting changes in posture, structure, flexibility, and overall well-being. By the end of the series, clients often feel lighter, more grounded, and more at home in their bodies.

This package includes two PostureScreen™ Analyses—one at the beginning and one at the completion of your 12-Series. These assessments visually map your alignment, allowing you to clearly track and compare your postural changes and progress over the course of the sessions.

This is a full-body restructuring rather than a single session—it’s ideal for those ready to experience deep, lasting change.

You’ll gain insight into the imbalances contributing to pain, stress, or restriction, along with a personalized plan to support your progress. Afterward, you’ll receive a PDF showing your posture mapped on a visual grid—making it easy to track your alignment and see your evolution over time.

What to Expect in a Structural Integration 12-Series

Structural Integration is a process—a series of sessions designed to bring your body into better balance, ease, and alignment. Each session has a unique focus, and together they build on each other to create lasting change.

Sessions 1–4: The Superficial Sessions (Opening & Balancing Outer Layers)

  • Session 1: Focus on the Superficial Front Line → breathing, chest expansion, rib cage, diaphragm, improving lift and ease.

  • Session 2: Focus on the feet and lower legs (Superficial Back Line, Lateral Line) → creating support and grounding.

  • Session 3: Work on the lateral body (sides of legs, torso, ribs) → bringing balance front-to-back and side-to-side.

  • Session 4: Focus on the medial line and inner legs → balancing the arches and knees, connecting pelvic support.

Sessions 5–8: The Deep Sessions (Core & Centering Work)

  • Session 5: Abdominal core and psoas → balancing front pelvis, lumbar spine, and visceral support.

  • Session 6: Back line & sacrum → working deep spinal stabilizers, pelvis, and hamstrings to free the sacrum and low back.

  • Session 7: Neck, cranium, and jaw → aligning the head and spine, balancing cervical support.

  • Session 8: Focus on the lower body integration (legs into pelvis) → linking core-support to movement.

Sessions 9–12: The Integration Sessions (Wholeness & Functional Movement)

  • Session 9: Integrating upper and lower halves → balancing girdles (shoulder/pelvic).

  • Session 10: Balancing right and left sides → addressing asymmetries.

  • Session 11: Integrating axial skeleton with appendicular → coordinating spine with arms and legs.

  • Session 12: Whole-body integration → refining balance, movement, and ease across all fascial lines.

FAQs

  • Most clients come every 1-2 weeks during the series. This allows your body time to adjust and integrate changes without losing momentum. Once you’ve completed the series, many people choose to come back for maintenance sessions every month or seasonally, depending on their lifestyle and goals.

  • Each session is hands-on and tailored to your body’s needs. While we follow the overall series plan, your unique posture, movement patterns, and goals help guide the work. Many clients notice changes not just in how their body feels, but also in how they move, breathe, and carry themselves.

    • The sensation: Most people describe the work as a deep, stretching pressure. At times it can feel like a strong release or “good tension,” similar to yoga or a deep stretch. Some areas may feel more intense than others, especially where the fascia is tight.

    • During the session: You’ll often be asked to participate by gently moving, breathing, or shifting your posture as I work. This helps your body learn new patterns and makes the changes more lasting.

    • After the session: Many clients notice feeling lighter, taller, and more open. Movement may feel easier, breathing more spacious, and posture more natural. Some describe it as if their body has been “realigned” from the inside out.

  • Integrative Bodywork combines different massage and bodywork techniques such as myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, or cupping, to address your unique needs, helping relieve pain/tension and support overall well-being.

Structural Integration (SI) goes a step deeper. Instead of a single targeted session, it’s a process-oriented series of sessions designed to realign your body’s connective tissue (fascia) with gravity. Think of SI as a total restructuring of your body to release long-held patterns in the body, improve posture, and create lasting structural balance.

Both approaches are beneficial, but SI is especially powerful for those looking for long-term structural changes in how their body moves and feels.
