Kundalini Rising
Kundalini — the evolutionary energy that lies at the base of the spine around the coccyx region, coiled three and a half times in its state of potential in unawakened humans. The word "Kundalini" is of Eastern origin, namely Yoga and Tantra. In Sanskrit, Kundalini means "coiled snake". The Hindus call this process: Kundalini Shakti rising upwards to meet Shiva consciousness, where they consummate their Divine Marriage and become One. Once they unite, Shiva comes down into the Heart Space to produce the continual act of renewal within the consciousness of the Kundalini initiate. While in this perpetual regenerative state, you become free, as you lose yourself within yourself. You begin to experience the world with fresh eyes and a full heart. This experience is what being in the "Now", the present moment, truly means.
Once awakened, the Kundalini rises up the spinal column through the three main Nadis to the top of the head. The term "Nadis" in Sanskrit translates to "flow", "tube", or "channel". Simply put, the Nadis are our energy channels that carry Light Energy or “Prana”.
The three main Nadis are Sushumna, Ida, and Pingala. Sushumna Nadi is the central channel between the base of the spine and top of the head. It's here where Kundalini Shakti will travel upwards towards the top of the head. Ida and Pingala intertwine around the Sushumna, piercing each chakra until they terminate in Ajna Chakra. Pingala, the masculine, Sun Nadi, which controls the heat in the body. While Ida represents the feminine, Moon Nadi, and regulates cold in the body. These two Nadis represent the feminine and masculine principles contained in all living things.
The correct flow of energy through Ida and Pingala is of paramount importance to the Kundalini circuit's proper functioning. If there are blockages, you will experience severe mental and emotional problems since these two Nadis regulate the Chakras and consciousness.
There are “partial” and “full” awakenings that can occur. I will illustrate the properties of a full Kundalini awakening to keep things simple.
A full Kundalini awakening activates the Seven Major Chakras. Each Chakra resonates with the vibration of one of the colors of the rainbow. These colors can be found if we shine White Light through a prism. We can see red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet in sequence.
When the Kundalini rises through the spinal column and into the brain, it seeks to reach the Crown Chakra and break open the Cosmic Egg. This will activate the seventy-two thousand Nadis of the Body of Light, thereby awakening its latent potential. As all the petals of Sahasrara (Crown Chakra) open with the Kundalini's upward rise, the individual consciousness expands to the Cosmic Level. Since Sahasrara is the gateway to the high Transpersonal Chakras, the awakened individual gains access to their cosmic gifts over time.
A full Kundalini awakening begins the Spiritual transformation process. The Spiritual transformation process allows our consciousness to become aligned with the two Fifth Dimensional Chakras above the head, the Soul Star and Stellar Gateway. Access to these Chakras allows us to rise through physical pain, fear, and duality. We begin to operate from intuition and live in the present moment, the Now. This process bypasses the mind and therefore conquers the Ego, allowing your Soul to be in the driver's seat. This makes sense as the Ego only lives in the mind! Through the Kundalini transformation process, the pain of separation is overcome since we experience the truth, the Oneness of all Creation. All of our actions become based on love and truth. Through Gnosis, we have access to unlimited knowledge of Creation's mysteries. With the full activation of the Body of Light, we gain immortality. We will die in this physical world and leave our space suit behind, yes. But, we know at our core that this life is one of many.
